API & Platform Compliance
Last updated: December 24, 2025
This page is intended for users and platform reviewers. ScheduleBid is a scheduling tool that helps users place a bid near the end of an auction. We are committed to using official marketplace APIs, user consent, and transparent policies.
How ScheduleBid uses eBay
- Not affiliated: ScheduleBid is an independent tool and is not affiliated with eBay Inc. “eBay” is a trademark of eBay Inc.
- User consent: We intend to use eBay OAuth authorization so actions are performed only with the user’s explicit permission.
- No password collection: We do not request or store user passwords for eBay accounts.
Typical API use cases
Depending on the user workflow and available permissions, ScheduleBid may use eBay APIs to:
- Read listing details needed to schedule a bid (for example: end time, item identifiers, current price).
- Place a user-authorized bid at the scheduled time.
- Show a user’s scheduled bids and related status information inside ScheduleBid.
Best-effort execution / no guarantees
Auctions are competitive and time-sensitive. ScheduleBid submits bids on a best-effort basis and does not guarantee that any bid will be accepted or that you will win.
